While the massage isn’t super deep, the timer feature is great, allowing me to choose between 5, 10, or 15 minutes (I usually go for 15). Cons: It has limited functions, offering only up and down shiatsu without any tapping or additional methods. The seat vibration and heat features are ineffective for me. I find the nodules a bit too gentle, so I remove the flap, which some might find overly intense. Additionally, the nodules don’t reach low enough for my lower back pain, so sitting on a thick cushion helps elevate me. At 5’6″, I find it covers about three-quarters of my back, so it may not be suitable for anyone taller if full coverage is desired.
Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for an affordable shiatsu massage for sore back relief at home. It doesn’t compare to those $3000-$4000 massage chairs, but at $160, I’m satisfied.
